The landscape acts as a setting wherein the spaceship seems to have landed and provides spaces for family recreation as well as congregation.

The landscape of Shairu Gems factory, Surat is an attempt at creating natural spaces where no space exists. The geometry of the landscape takes inspiration from the gems polishing activity of the factory and is manifested through natural stone patterns in different kinds of finishes.
The landscape rises from the ground and climbs onto the building facade, creating an entire aesthetic display and ecosystem on the vertical walls and higher levels where space is available.

The landscape of LTM & LSM Factory, Surat is an attempt at land-art. The client brief was to create a forest as well as demonstrate the cutting edge technologies being developed at the factory cum research unit. The landscape takes inspiration from the client's imaging process of taking a raw material and making an aesthetic art piece from it. The landscape is a series of mounds rising in height as one views them from the entrance. The mounds are cladded with natural stone at various locations and give a feeling of arising from the ground with the stone. The landscape becomes a journey with integrated seating wherein many a small get-togethers, brainstorming sessions and solitary thinking can be realized.

Ankit Gems Pvt. Ltd. is a premier diamond processing & export house with its factory in Surat. The company wants to present a cutting edge ideologies being developed at the factory cum research unit. The landscape takes inspiration from the client's imaging process of taking a raw material and making an aesthetic art piece from it.

Urban Development Authority has proposed to develop neighbourhood gardens all around the city. ECPL+ECUBE has been selected to design four such gardens that provide recreational, sports, children's play and other amenities to residents.

GUDA Public Parks

Two parks being developed as a part of a joint initiative to design 100 parks for Ahmedabad, through a CSR activity and partnership between leading and upcoming landscape firms. AMC Public Parks

Smriti Van is envisaged as nature's memorial to the victims of 2001 Gujarat Earthquake. The landmark site of Bhujio Dungar will be transformed into a natural ecosystem park with its own rainwater based irrigation system. One tree will be planted for each victim, and irrigated by check dams that store rain water. The site will also host a museum, conference facilities and nature trails. One part of the site will be left isolated for natural regeneration.

Arvind Uplands is a premium township coming up on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Earthscapes is currently developing the entrance area landscape to create a landmark entry to the project site. The large plot has a lake, community gardens, and is envisaged to be peaceful and contemporary, with large pedestrian areas devoted to recreational, sports and community amenities, having low fencing to give an inclusive feeling, and a homely atmosphere.

Arvind Uplands

A 6km long 32 acre park is proposed in a high end suburb of Surat. The park aims to create a landmark public space that comprises of congregation areas, lawns, gardens, public amenities, sports areas and childrens play areas along the road.

KP Sanghvi is developing its new factory at the GHB SEZ, which is developed as an inward looking development, with islands of landscape within it. These islands provides a refreshing view to the workers, and include a wide variety of tropical planting with varying colour, texture, seasonal variations, etc .

Luxuria is a high end residential scheme coming up in a new suburb of Vadodara. The landscape is integrated with the built environment and provides various family amenities for recreation and fitness.

The landscape of KP Courtyard, Ahmedabad is a series of courtyards inspired from the seasons of the year. Each courtyard displays patterns, associations and planting related to one of the seasons, namely summer, winter, spring and monsoon.
Each courtyard is then associated with a separate age group, namely children, youngsters, old people and a common courtyard for congregation of all community members. These courtyards are located within the apartments and act as a visual treat for the residents.

Under the City Beautification scheme, DNH Administration is upgrading 18km of city streets. Earthscapes is involved in planting design for the new streetscape being designed by Arya Architects & The Urban Lab. The scheme looks at developing a planting palette that reflects the local lush ambience along with seasonal variation.

Alok Impex is a premier diamond processing & export house with its factory in Surat. The company wants to present a cutting edge landscape design in its reception cum atrium, which provides experience of being in a forest. The landscape is conceptualized as a giant tree with its roots spread on the floor, trunk & leaves on the wall, and the transparent roof of the atrium like a filtered view of the sky through the tree.

Arya Architects are designing the Education Hub at Diu. The project reinterprets the idea of landscape from ground to the building walls, making it one contiguous green space. RK University is developing a city campus along the new Ring Road in Rajkot. Earthscapes is developing a landscape experience that starts by redefining the entry gate as a green portal. The experience continues to the recreational spaces and canteen: shaded plazas and an informal amphitheater along with a canteen that emulates the language of the gate.

A 100 acre upcoming campus on the banks of Tapi in Surat needs an entrance gesture that will convey the grandness of the institution that it will hold. A grand entrance and seating plaza will provide name plaques for various educational activities in the campus as well as provide waiting areas for students.

NorthStar is a premier school proposed on RK University campus at Rajkot. The school will have 1000 students with limited boarding facilities. The site shall also host extension to RK University. Sports and other amenities shall be commonly used by the school & University.

Raksha Shakti is India's premier police & security oriented University, having its proposed 200 acre campus outside Dehgam near Ahmedabad. The campus lies on ravinous land of River Meshwo. Landscape master planning involved techniques to reclaim the landscape as well as store & recharge water for the campus

Nalanda University is an autonomous international university promoted by India jointly with several Asian countries to create a unique global campus. The University launched an international design competition for its 450 acre campus at Rajgir, Bihar based on the tenets of net-zero development. This competition was won by Vastu-Shilpa Consultants for which ECPL were landscape architects. The masterplan is being finalized and development of the University shall begin in late 2014.

Nalanda University

The Indian Institute of Management at Udaipur was established a year ago, and is one of the premier management institutes in the country. Design of its main campus was selected from a competition, and is lead by Vastu-Shilpa Consultants, who also designed IIM Bangalore. IIM wishes to create a sustainable campus that will reflect the local landscape. The concept of landscape for an educational campus is akin to that for a temple: a temple of learning that fosters creativity, encourages search for knowledge through introspection and discussion, accepts steward-ship of nature and culture, and becomes a womb of future thoughts.

Indian Institute of Management

GSRTC is developing a retail hub in Public Private Partnership with Hubtown Pvt Ltd (formerly Ackruti City Pvt Ltd). The brief is to develop a futuristic bus terminal with adequate public amenities and parking, as well as hotel, retail spaces and offices.
The hub shall become the new central mall for Mehsana hosting the largest retail & public space agglomeration, using high quality finishes and materials that rival metros.

The terminal is being developed on an art theme of "Apnu Amdavad". The landscape is conceptualized as a throbbing paving pattern that develops islands of public amenities, softscape areas and seating cum waiting areas. The aim is to invigorate the space through landscape installations and usable spaces to create a thriving 24x7 public space.
