GSRTC is developing a retail hub in Public Private Partnership with Hubtown Pvt Ltd (formerly Ackruti City Pvt Ltd). The brief is to develop a futuristic bus terminal with adequate public amenities and parking, as well as hotel, retail spaces and offices.
The terminal is being developed on an art theme of "Apnu Amdavad". The landscape is conceptualized as a throbbing paving pattern that develops islands of public amenities, softscape areas and seating cum waiting areas. The aim is to invigorate the space through landscape installations and usable spaces to create a thriving 24x7 public space.
